Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use getfrankla.com, text or email Frank, book a job through us, or join Frank as a service professional. Frank is operated by Get Frank LA ("Frank," "we," "us"). By using Frank, you agree to these terms.

What Frank does

Frank is a booking and dispatch service. When a homeowner texts us about a repair, we offer the job to approved independent professionals who are available, and book the first one who accepts. Frank does not perform repair work itself. Professionals are independent businesses, not Frank employees or agents. They are responsible for their own work, licenses, permits, insurance, pricing and warranties.

For homeowners

• Give us accurate information about the problem and your address, and make sure someone authorized can let the professional in.
• Before you book, Frank gives you an estimated price range. It is an estimate, not a quote. Your professional confirms the final price before starting work, and you pay your professional directly. Frank does not charge homeowners. Any warranty on the work is between you and the professional.
• We vet professionals before they join, but we can't guarantee the result of any job. If something goes wrong, tell us at hi@getfrankla.com and we'll help where we can.

For service professionals

• Joining requires an application and approval. We may approve, decline or remove any professional at our discretion.
• You must hold the licenses and insurance required for your work in California and keep the information you give us accurate and current.
• You pay Frank a fee only for jobs you book, never for leads. Fee amounts and payment terms are explained to you before you accept any job.
• You agree to treat homeowners and their property with care, show up when you say you will, and use homeowner information only to complete the booked job.

Text messaging terms

• Program: Frank sends texts about repair requests, bookings and job updates to homeowners, and about applications and job offers to professionals.
• Consent: by texting us or giving us your mobile number, you agree to receive these texts. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• Frequency: message frequency varies.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop texts. Reply HELP for help, or email hi@getfrankla.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

Don't use Frank for anything illegal, abusive or fraudulent, or to harass anyone. We may stop serving anyone who does.

Disclaimers and limits

Frank is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, Frank is not liable for the work, conduct or omissions of independent professionals, or for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to Frank is limited to the amount you paid Frank in the 12 months before the claim. Some laws don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Frank means you accept the updated terms.
